Salem Chapel, Nr Llanfair DC £4,000
BD Construction prides itself on helping the local community and as a result complete the construction of a new access footpath between the graves at Salem Chapel.
The Civil Enginering contractors work on projects throughout the UK but were keen to give something back to the local community. Special thanks must go to the Director, Mr Davies, who funded this project for the Chapel.
A55 Ducting & Drainage Works £65,000
As Civil Engineers in the UK; BD Construction works closely with Lafarge Contracting Ltd (www.lafarge-aggregates.co.uk).
This project which included the supply and installation of over a mile of ducting, installation of fibre-optic cable and construction of v-shaped drainage manholes was the first that the Commercial Builders in Ruthin had completed for Lafarge.
The success of the project in terms of BD Construction's commitment to the programme, workmanship standards and safe practices led to repeat and on-going business from the National Contractor. BD Construction were praised by the client, NEWTRA, for the professionalism and high standards attained by all its staff during the completion of the project.
A180 Scunthorpe £30,000
The second project completed in conjunction with Lafarge Contracting Ltd by BD Construction.
BD Construction, Civil Engineers in the UK, were requested to assist with the civils element of this re-surfacing contract which included the installation of ducting, casting of sign bases, concreting and kerbing.
Works were carried out on an ad-hoc basis over a 4 month period. BD Construction were praised, once again, by senior management at Lafarge for efforts throughout the project.
M1 Junctions 15 - 16 £25,000
The fifth project completed most recently with Lafarge Contracting Ltd.
Once again BD Construction were employed on an ad-hoc basis to assist with the minor civils elements associated with this re-surfacing works. Our employee worked on site for the duration of the project; raising ironwork, carrying out drainage repairs and generally assisting.
Senior management were so impressed that Lafarge Contracting Ltd have committed to the further development of our team by providing specialist training. BD Construction, Civil Engineers in the UK, look forward to developing its relationship with this influential National Contractor.
